Professional Development and Web 2.0 (Matt Dockery) This is a brief article. What I liked so much about this is how teachers are at times learners, and how the roles switch with each new technology available.

 

Introduction to E-Learning (Matt Dockery) The negative about this site is it has a subscription. Although, it has a free trial offer, it provides 25 tools for online workshops. A lot of great information on tutorials for Web 2.0 technologies.

 

E-Learn Magazine article (Matt Dockery) This is a pretty good article discussing Web 2.0 for teachers and how it can fit into the classroom.

 

Teachers First (Tricia Braden) This is an excellent web site that reviews new Web 2.0 software teachers might want to use in the classrooom, provides online tutorials to develop skills in using new Web 2.0 technologies and provides other forms of professional development for teachers. It includes a wealth of information on staying current for teachers.

 

ReadWriteWeb (Tricia Braden)  This site gives examples of how Web 2.0 tools have changed the classroom.

 

Online Education Database (Tricia Braden)  This looks like a list of Web 2.0 tools, but there are links to the tools and how to use them.  It's a nice "all in one" type of site.

 

Educational Technology Scholarly Papers (Beth Thomas) A good list of scholarly papers on theories and issues in educational technology from the University of Saskatchewan

 

21st Century Schools (Mike Bukhtoyarov) This web site contains useful information about professional development. There are a lot of sections covering wide range of topics: from Web 2.0 to Needs Assessment.

 

K-12 Online Conference 2008 (Mary Pryor) Provides info on 2.0 tools for improving learning, mini lesson plans on implementing 2.0 tools.
