What is Web Development?
Web development is the active construction of internet or intranet pages or sites. Developing web content can be done with simple text editors and access to an internet server. Commonly web development involves the use of web development software and visual content editors. Another necessity is access to a web server. Two of the most popular web servers are Internet Information Services by Microsoft (IIS) and Apache. Web development generally falls into two categories, static and dynamic. Static web pages present content in a predictable and unchanging fashion. Dynamic webpages change their content based upon interactions by the user.
