Please disregard Poll Everywhere, it's been done. Let's go with eJucomm instead!

It looks like most of us have included a link next to our name. Should that link take us to the Wiki page about our Web 2.0 tool? Or the actual website for the tool? We should be consistent on that, shouldn't we?

Lauren Bissler said

I agree Julie...maybe we should either incorporate the website link "in" our page....or we should create a separate page for the website link. But I like how we have created a page that explains how we use the web tool in the school setting. Thoughts anyone?

I think we should have the link to our individual wiki page about our web tool on this page, and then have the link to the web tool website within our individual wiki page.

That way this page turns into a type of "Table of Contents" for our overall class wiki. Any other thoughts on how to structure it?

Julie said

Since it will serve as a Table of Contents of sorts, should we put them in any kind of order? Alphabetical by Web 2.0 tool? Alphabetical by student name? Or is that getting too picky? What do you think?

Kelsie Markijohn said

I personally don't think that's necessary. What do others here think?

Julie said

I like that idea. I just checked all the links on this page, and there were only a couple that links to the website and not our individual wiki page (mine was one of them!), so I went ahead and changed that. The only one I couldn't do was Lauren's because it doesn't look like she has created her page yet.

Hey Julie! Which Lauren? and if it is me...then which page am I missing? Just want to be consistent with everyone's page. :)

McDonald. Sorry!

Do the last three or four names look like they are in a different font? I tried editing them, and the program says they are all Arial size 14, but they look different to me. Do they to anyone else? Or am I just losing my eyesight from all the computer time I have been logging this summer?

Cammie Nelson said

They do look different - as if they've been bolded.

Kelsie Markijohn said

I'm not sure what is up with that. Even when I try to edit them, they still end up looking different. :-/

Lori Thomson said

I agree. I played around with it, but I it still looks as if they are bigger.

Julie said

Thanks to whoever managed to change the fonts so they all match!

I finally found the edit button at the top left of the page hidden in the blue. I am on my Mac and the screen was hiding it. I added a Dropbox Page and an Audacity page. I will add a good deal of info more in the next 48 hours to these pages as I can!

I created a Wordle using all of our web tool names. I thought it would be eye-catching to add a graphic and what better than using one of our web tools?

Love it, Lauren! Thank you for doing that! :-)

Lauren Bissler said

I changed the wordle so it wasn't so blurry. It was difficult to read before.

Sorry so late guys...I'm kinda last minute at doing things this summer. I have added my page of creating Jeopardy games for use in the classroom. Please take a look, and let me know if you think anything needs to be added or changed. Now of to working on my website!

Cheryl said

It seemed too easy to create, so I'm a little worried I did it wrong. LOL

Mallory said

Ha I felt the same way! And I have been scrambling to do things last minute too! Looks good though!

I do believe the Audacity page is ready for any final critiques and changes. I will be glued to the computer all day watching for any issues regarding this assignment.

Julie said

We've got a problem, folks. While our topic sign up is only showing one Audacity page (Steven's), the navigation folder on the right of the screen is showing we have two pages on Audacity. One is Steven's, Why You Need to Learn Audacity, but there is another one titled Audacity is for Podcasting. I don't know who created that one. I got it confused with Stevens, so I made a couple corrections and typed a note on it to (I think) Jody because hers was the last name that edited it and I assumed it was hers. However, I see that she did Sweet Search. Does anyone know who that page belongs to or how it got there? Is it ok to delete it?

Kelsie Markijohn said

at 12:43 pm on Jul 12, 2013

Did Steven accidentally create two different pages?

Steven Walters said

at 8:07 pm on Jul 12, 2013

I did created the Audacity page that is titled Why you need to learn Audacity with the three logos. I do not know where the other one came from.
